The Wind Finland seminar gathers around 500 wind power and renewable energy specialists in Helsinki’s to exchange ideas and hear from top speakers on industry trends. We’ll also arrange one-on-one meetings with developers and a breakfast with stakeholders which will help us understanding the evolving political landscape in light of the coming elections in April 2027. Before this event, we’ll visit the island of Åland, where the Sunnanvind offshore wind farm is being developed. We’ll explore the planned logistic arrangements and meet with developer OX2, local authorities, and port representatives to assess the region’s supply chain and project status.

Furthermore, we will assess the political and societal dynamics shaping the region. Engaging with the local community in Åland will tell us more about social acceptance and the potential impact of local oppositionon project timelines.

Registration: is open to Dutch companies. The mission is free for PIB cluster members Finland (1 representative free, second person €250 excluding VAT) and for non clustermembers costs are €475 excluding VAT. The fee includes the seminar and group transportation. It excludes flights, hotels, and personal expenses. We need your confirmation by 2 September
